Children's Mental Health Week
Wellbeing
Welcome to the mental health and wellbeing section of the school website.
At Orchard C of E Primary, we aim to provide a happy, secure and caring environment which is underpinned by our Christian values. We are committed to promoting and securing a positive wellbeing
At Orchard C of E Primary School, we value wellbeing and now, more than ever we need to prioritise supporting young people to understand what wellbeing is and how to develop positive mental health. Therefore, we talk openly about wellbeing and our PSHE curriculum allows children to understand and develop their own mental health. Mental health goes hand-in-hand with physical health and we encourage the children to look after both their bodies and their minds.
For the first time, we now have ‘Wellbeing Ambassadors’ these will help to raise the profile of wellbeing in the school.
We are also here to support families. Take a look at the attached links and information about all the services available support you and your family’s mental health and wellbeing.
